Job summary

Kaleidoscope Education Solutions is seeking Certified ELA Interventionists in the Philadelphia Metro area, PA. You will deliver focused reading intervention to students in small groups and one-on-one settings, using push-in and pullout strategies to improve outcomes.

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid Pennsylvania Teacher Certification.
• Reading Specialist Certification is strongly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Provides and delivers focused reading intervention instruction to students in small groups and one-on-one settings through push-in and pullout for the purpose of improving student outcomes and achievement.
• Demonstrates the ability to participate in a collaborative learning environment as well as participate in professional growth activities.
• Builds positive relationships with students and families in an urban education environment.
• Coordinates knowledge of content, of students, and of resources to design a series of learning experiences aligned to instructional outcomes and suitability to groups of students.
• Cultivates a learning environment that promotes cultural relevance, diversity of thinking, diversity of learning, and respect for all people.
• Creates a safe learning environment that establishes clear and high expectations for learning.
• Ensures instructional decisions are based on analysis of student-level data.
