Job summary

Cambium Learning Group is seeking a Test Developer II to lead item development for English Learner/Multilingual Learners (EL/MLL) content. You will use state item specifications and work with a project content lead on ELP assessment projects.

You will head educator content reviews, rubric validation, range finding, and data review meetings, with travel up to 1 week to 8 trips per year. A background in EL instruction and assessment is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in teaching English as a second language, bilingual education, or applied linguistics plus 5-8 years' experience or a Master's with 1-4 years' experience.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience teaching ELs/MLLs or developing content in Educational Assessment.
• Knowledge of U.S. Education system and Educational Assessment practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses state item specifications to write effective items for multiple projects, including ELP assessments.
• Oversees item pool development with project content lead across states.
• Leads educator content reviews, rubric validation, range finding, and data review meetings for ELP projects.
