Job summary

Bismarck Public Schools is accepting applications for an English Learner Instructional Aide at Grimsrud Elementary School. The position supports instruction, observes student progress, implements instructional plans, and helps with behavior management and record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform multiple tasks and update skills as needed.
• Follow safety practices and operate standard office equipment and software.
• English-speaking requirement only (may speak other languages but not required).

Responsibilities

• Administer first aid and medical assistance as directed.
• Care for students with severe physical disabilities and assist with mobility.
• Support instructional activities and adapt materials for small groups.
• Attend trainings such as first aid, CPR, and emergency procedures.
• Communicate progress and support IEP objectives with staff.
• Maintain records and organize instructional materials.
