Job summary

BASIS Ed Pflugerville is seeking an EL Coordinator to join our bright, passionate team. The EL Coordinator will provide targeted language instruction and academic support to English Learners (EL) while ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements.

This role focuses on direct EL services, with responsibilities for LPAC meetings, state testing coordination, planning targeted lessons, and collaborating with core teachers to ensure language objectives are met.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Texas teaching certificate with ESL Supplemental.
• Proven experience providing language instruction to EL students.
• Knowledge of LPAC procedures and state testing requirements for EL students.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted language instruction and academic support to EL students.
• Lead small group interventions and push-in support in core classrooms.
• Oversee LPAC meetings and Texas state testing coordination for EL students.
• Track student progress, communicate with families, and collaborate with teachers.
