Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a PRN EKG Technician to support our cardiovascular care team. You will perform non-invasive cardiac tests, monitor rhythms, and assist physicians with diagnostic information to guide treatment.

Qualified candidates have a current BLS, a high school diploma or GED, knowledge of EKG rhythms, at least one year in acute care, and basic computer skills. Sunrise offers competitive benefits and a supportive work environment.

• Knowledge and recognition of EKG rhythms, arrhythmias and rhythm disturbances.
• Minimum one year of acute care hospital experience.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Our EKG Technicians utilize specialized knowledge and skills to perform non-invasive cardiovascular procedures for patients resulting in diagnostic information allowing the physician to provide the appropriate treatment.

What qualifications you will need:

• Current BLS certification
• High school graduate or GED equivalent
• Knowledge and recognition of EKG rhythms, arrhythmias and rhythm disturbances, signs of acute EKG changes such as infarct and ischemia
• Minimum one year of acute care hospital experience
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Basic computer skills required
