Job summary

CoxHealth South in Springfield, Missouri is seeking an EKG Technician II to perform electrocardiogram procedures under physician supervision. You will operate ECG equipment, Holter monitors, and related cardiovascular systems, prioritizing patient comfort and data quality.

The role requires completing the competency checklist within 90 days of hire, with preference for EKG or healthcare experience and strong typing/computer skills. Evening shift available with full patient care responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrocardiogram procedures independently or under physician supervision, following established policies to ensure high-quality data and patient comfort.
• Operate electrocardiographic equipment including 24/48 hour holter monitors and related systems.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and safety throughout procedures.
