Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking a Telemetry Monitor to provide continuous ECG monitoring for patients in our Virtual Care Command Center. You will observe for arrhythmias, life-threatening rhythms, and rate changes, ensuring timely communication of any changes to the care team.

Responsibilities include monitoring multiple patients, promptly relaying information with calm, clear updates, and removing telemetry as orders expire; a high school diploma and BLS are required, with telemetry courses completed

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: EKG or related healthcare experience preferred.
• Skills: Typing, computer skills, and good interpersonal communication.
• Licensure/Certification: BLS within 90 days of hire and telemetry interpretation training within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced ECG monitoring by observing for arrhythmia interpretation and rate/rhythm changes for patients on continuous telemetry.
• Monitor multiple patients simultaneously and communicate changes promptly using calm, succinct communication.
