Ascension in Tulsa, OK seeks an EKG Technician to support the Cardiac Imaging department. The role involves guiding patients through EKG procedures, placing leads precisely, and ensuring high-quality diagnostics for timely physician interpretation.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting artifacts, calibrating equipment, and reviewing patient histories to streamline the care journey. The schedule is Monday–Friday with rotating weekends, at Ascension St. John Medical Center.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire date (AHA or Red Cross accepted).
• Education options include high school equivalency or an associate/technical degree or relevant experience.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and guide patients through EKG procedures with clear explanations to reduce anxiety and ensure comfort.
• Place leads accurately and identify heart rhythm abnormalities in real-time to support immediate clinical decisions.
• Troubleshoot technical artifacts and ensure equipment is calibrated for accurate patient data.
• Review patient histories and efficiently route completed diagnostics to physicians for rapid interpretation.
