Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Tulsa, OK is seeking a day shift, full-time Echo Tech to join Hillcrest Hospital South. You will perform diagnostic transesophageal and transthoracic echocardiography and support patient care in a collaborative team.

Ideal candidates hold ARDMS RDCS or CCI RCS registrations or eligibility, with BLS within 14 days. The role may include evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved echocardiography and/or non-invasive vascular ultrasound training program.
• ARDMS (RDCS) / CCI (RCS) registration or eligible at time of hire.
• ARDMS (RDCS) / CCI (RCS) must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer prior to direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic transesophageal and transthoracic cardiac ultrasound imaging.
• Maintain daily records, stock supplies, and provide quality patient care.
• Work closely with physicians and nursing staff and function independently.
• May require evenings, weekends, holidays and on-call duties.

• Must be able to perform diagnostic Transesophogeal and transthorasic cardiac ultrasound images.
• Maintains daily record, assist in stocking supplies and providing excellent patient care.
• This position requires the technologist to be able work closely with Physicians, nursing staff and independently.
• Position may require working evenings, weekends, holidays and provide call back service.

Job Requirements:

• Graduate from an approved echocardiography and/or non-invasive vascular ultrasound training program.
• Must have ARDMS (RDCS) / CCI (RCS) registration, or be eligible to obtain at time of hire.
• ARDMS (RDCS) / CCI (RCS) must be obtained within one year of hire.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
