Job Summary and Qualifications

To perform and record diagnostic testing on patients for the purpose of diagnosing cardiac conditions. - Assist in the Echo Department if needed - To ensure that the age-specific needs of patients (neonatal, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics) are met.

What you will do in this role:

• Knows and understands the objectives, policies, procedures, and standards of the hospital and EKG Department.
• Has a basic knowledge of all EKG procedures performed in the EKG department- Know the operating principles of the equipment and all safety aspects related to the equipment.
• Able to transport patients.
• Able to assume responsibility for shift in the absence of the supervisor or director.
• Responsible for routine cleaning, maintenance and stocking of EKG equipment.
• Processing of paperwork and reports.
• Scheduling of test and any other duties as required.
• Keeps CPR certification updated

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
