Job summary

Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester is seeking a skilled EKG Technician to perform routine electrocardiograms and support cardiac care. You will help file patient reports and assist physicians with the HIS system while ensuring patient safety and privacy.

Job Summary

Performs routine electrocardiograms.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates the knowledge and ability to care for age specific needs of the population served as measured by completion of mandatory training and direct observation by supervisor,
• performs EKG’s, demonstrates ability to file patient reports, and assist physicians with HIS system.
• May supervise/precept students, volunteers, or new employees.
• Performs routine electrocardiograms.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Medical terminology required.
• Certifications: BLS.
