Job summary

Responsibilities

• Collect blood specimens from patients per physician request.
• Transport specimens to laboratory.
• Perform EKG procedures on patients per physician request.
• Enter lab and EKG requests into the information system.
• Communicate patient-related information to appropriate personnel.
• Ensure supplies and equipment are available and functioning.
• Assist in patient transport to units or radiology as needed.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and participate in ongoing training.
