Job summary

Martin‑Baker America is seeking an Aircraft Ejection Seat Overhaul Technician to perform inspection, overhaul, testing, and documentation of ejection seats and life‑critical components. The role ensures safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance in maintenance operations.

Responsibilities include repair, testing, calibration of equipment, and maintaining accurate records. Candidates should have a high school diploma and 5 years' seat maintenance experience; military AME/PR school is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 5 years' experience in support of maintenance on ejection seats and components.
• Desirable military AME/PR "A" school or USAF equivalent.
• Ability to interpret and apply technical drawings, manuals, and engineering documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and computer-for documentation and traceability.
• Adherence to all company policies and safety requirements.

Job Purpose:

The Aircraft Ejection Seat Overhaul Technician is a skilled technical expert responsible for comprehensive inspection, complex repair, precision overhaul, and rigorous testing of ejection seats and their life‑critical components in accordance with detailed technical specifications, engineering drawings, and stringent regulatory standards. This role is essential to maintaining the highest levels of aircrew safety, product quality, and operational readiness while ensuring full compliance with all applicable procedures and customer requirements.

Requirements:

• Demonstrate expertise in mechanical ability to interpret and apply technical drawings, technical manuals, and engineering documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and computer skills for accurate documentation and traceability.
• Must adhere to all company policies and safety requirements.
