Job summary

Arcadis in Novi, MI is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer EIT to lead site development and redevelopment projects, overseeing design, coordination, and documentation for multi-family, retail, corporate, and industrial ventures.

The role requires 3+ years in land/site development, strong project management and leadership skills, and proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil 3D and MicroStation. You will collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

• An EIT Civil Engineer with 3+ years of experience in land/site development projects.
• Experience in Civil/Land Development sector with public-sector construction documents, cities/counties, etc.
• Strong consulting skills, including project management and client relationship management at senior level.
• Deep experience leading Civil Engineering Teams and coordinating internal/external stakeholders.
• Proficient technical skills with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation (asset).

Responsibilities

• Assist with the completion of construction documents for site development, water resources, and/or civil projects.
• Serve as a technical resource for the project, providing guidance on technical processes.
• Represent Arcadis to external teams and stakeholders with effective communication and project methodologies.
• Organize project structure and processes, including staffing, quality controls, design oversight, and budgets.
• Oversee and, when needed, prepare construction documents, calculations, and reports for public or private clients.
• Ensure quality controls and professional standards; provide training, mentoring, and supervision as needed.
• Motivate team members to meet goals and manage project budgets.
