Job summary

Walker Partners Engineers | Surveyors seeks a Civil Engineer-in-Training to work with our engineering, surveying and construction management teams. You’ll help design drainage, streets, paving and grading plans, and develop water and wastewater systems for municipal and land development projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification and FE exam completion required.
• 2–5 years experience in municipal infrastructure or land development projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop, analyze, and quality-check civil engineering plans using AutoCAD Civil3D, HEC-RAS, EPANet and related tools.
• Support planning, design, and permitting for municipal and land development projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and cross-functional teams to meet client goals.
• Learn local, state and federal regulations and Walker Partners’ quality standards.
