Job summary

TC Energy seeks an Electrical Instrumentation & Controls (EIC) Technician for our AGR Nashville Area, based in Antioch, TN. You will operate and maintain natural gas compression, PLC & DCS control systems, and related equipment, while supporting other disciplines as needed.

You will perform complex maintenance, troubleshoot issues, coordinate tasks for crews, mentor junior technicians, and participate in installation and commissioning of advanced equipment.

Qualifications

• Journeyman ticket in a relevant trade, or two years of vocational/technical training with at least five years of related experience
• Fully qualified and, where required, certified tradesperson
• Ability to meet and maintain company-defined operator qualifications and technical tasks

Responsibilities

• Perform major maintenance functions and complex installations and repairs within your trade specialty.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex equipment and system issues in electrical, instrumentation and control systems.
• Exercise independent judgement in selecting work methods and provide recommendations for process and equipment improvements.
• Plan and coordinate work for contract or maintenance crews, ensuring safety and compliance with standards.
• Train and mentor less experienced technicians, sharing expertise and fostering skill development.
