Job summary

TC Energy in the United States is seeking an Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls (EIC) Technician for our USGO Delhi team to troubleshoot, operate, and maintain natural gas compressor and meter stations and related facilities. You will install, test, repair, and maintain motors, instruments, and control systems, calibrate equipment, and ensure safety and compliance.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential; flexibility for extended hours and on-call duties is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a related industry.
• Knowledge of Stop Work Authority (SWA) and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and related software.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience with controls, measurement systems, and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, repair, and maintain compressor stations and meter stations.
• Maintain power systems, PLCs, and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Coordinate with field personnel during maintenance and repairs.
• Prepare and maintain DOT-auditable records for inspections and testing.
• Enter data into SAP and manage work orders.
• Operate and calibrate measurement and regulation equipment.
