Responsibilities

• Adapting, accommodating, and modifying the general education curricula, pedagogy, and learning environments for students.
• Aligning and adapting the student's program with the general education curriculum.
• Developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized behavior management strategies and plans.
• Participate in Wraparound Meetings
• Using curriculum guides to identify functional goals.
• Employing assessment tools and strategies connecting results to curriculum planning.
• Complete records in a timely manner
• Communicate effectively with school and community members
• Meet the physical and mental demands of teaching
• Follow directives from supervisors
• Lead classroom instruction to meet Special Education needs
• Other duties as required by administration
