Douglas ESD seeks an Early Intervention/Early Childhood Special Education Teacher / Service Coordinator in Medford, OR. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or special education required.
• Ability to obtain EI/ECSE endorsement or authorization within 12 months.
• Experience in service coordination for IFSP and collaboration with families.

Responsibilities

• Provide educational consultation to EI/ECSE and mainstream staff on instruction and progress.
• Guide staff on legal requirements for assessment and IFSP management.
• Assist families and staff to implement prescribed instructional programs.
• Follow EI/ECSE intake/referral processes and conduct assessments.
• Consult on child behavior and teach parental management techniques.
• Complete required reports and IFSPs promptly and accurately.
• Serve as liaison with HeadStart, preschools, daycares and school districts.
• Collect data on progress and maintain database records.
• Other duties as assigned.
