Job summary

Green Bay Packaging seeks an electrical engineering co-op for Spring–Summer 2027 in Green Bay, WI. You will support EI&C engineers on tasks, gain exposure to Distributed Control Systems and PLC programming, and assist with field data gathering and documentation. Hours are M-F 7A–3P.

Engagement focuses on collaboration with plant personnel and engineering teams to ensure proper execution of work and timely delivery of outcomes.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field of study from an accredited institution.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively deliver and reinforce consistent messages at multiple levels.
• Strong team player who can effectively work with others to meet objectives and timelines.
• Must be willing to work in dirty, noisy, hot, humid environments.
• Ability to work with plant personnel and engineering groups to ensure the proper execution of work.
• Prioritization of time and work.
• Use of self-initiative and independence to complete tasks with urgency and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assisting EI&C Department Engineers in assigned tasks
• Creating value-added changes in the Distributed Control System (DCS) and PLC programming
• Field data gathering, inventory management analysis, and documentation streamlining
• Maintaining/updating drawings and equipment files
• Supervising project-related items and equipment/parts installations
• Meeting with contractors, vendors, engineers, etc.
