Responsibilities

Communicate effectively with manager & other maintenance associates on tasks performed.
Interact with engineers, production, and other to discuss existing or potential engineering projects and products.
Program PLCs and computers to make equipment safer, faster or more efficient.
Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical panels, equipment, and systems.
Direct and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities.
Inspect completed installations and observe operations for conformance to design and safety standards.
Create bills of material for projects.
Train maintenance technicians and department heads as necessary.
Use AutoCAD to create electrical and mechanical drawings.
