Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Workplace Health & Safety Specialist to lead safety programs and transform culture at our Ohio facility. You will conduct daily safety audits, investigate incidents, perform risk assessments, and train associates to prevent injuries while maintaining productivity.

This role requires strong communication, OSHA knowledge, and the ability to influence across teams. Flex shifts including days, nights, and weekends may be required, and First Aid/CPR certification

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's in EHS preferred.
• 1 year in an EHS-related field or 6 months in Amazon safety role; OSHA knowledge.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations 29 CFR 1910.
• Experience using Word and Excel; confidentiality in security matters.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments.
• Deliver safety training that drives a proactive culture.
• Act as safety advisor and advocate for associate wellbeing.
• Collaborate with leadership to implement improvements.
