Freemont Yardley Search is seeking an experienced Unit Manager to lead Health & Safety in a large Tennessee manufacturing environment near Nashville. You will drive safety performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and develop EHS team members to build a strong safety culture across the operation.

You will partner with operations leadership, oversee audits and investigations, and support ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 programs while mentoring the site teams to reduce hazards and sustain continuous

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety, environmental, engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and compliance programs.
• Experience leading investigations, audits, and training.

Responsibilities

• Lead proactive safety culture across the facility.
• Mentor and develop EHS team members.
• Ensure OSHA/EPA and local regulations compliance.
• Oversee investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate safety audits, inspections, training, and reporting.
• Support emergency planning and environmental compliance.
• Lead safety committees and ISO 14001/ISO 45001 initiatives.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and maintenance to reduce hazards.
