Voyager Technologies in Pueblo, Colorado, is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Training Specialist to develop, deliver, and continuously improve safety training programs supporting our energetic materials, explosives, chemical processing, and advanced manufacturing operations.

This role blends classroom instruction with hands-on field engagement and requires collaboration with operations, engineering, manufacturing, and EHS teams to ensure regulatory compliance, safe work practices,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health and Safety or related field with relevant experience or equivalent
• Experience developing and delivering EHS training in regulated environments
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Develop, deliver, and maintain EHS training programs for energetic materials, explosives, and hazardous materials
• Deliver instructor-led and hands-on training for employees, contractors, and leaders
• Conduct new-hire safety orientation and onboarding
• Create training materials, procedures, and assessments
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, DoD explosives safety standards, ATF/BATFE, DOT/PHMSA regulations
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and EHS teams
• Maintain training records and certifications
• Support audits and incident investigations
• Promote safe operating practices across manufacturing environments
• Participate in hazard analyses and risk assessments
