Job summary

Loenbro is seeking a Director of EHS Training & Development to lead enterprise learning for environmental, health and safety training. You will design governance, curriculum frameworks, qualification requirements, and learning pathways across a multi-state workforce, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and client expectations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in EHS and safety training within industrial environments.
• Experience building EHS training programs for dispersed workforces.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA requirements for industrial construction and field ops.
• Ability to translate regulations into practical training
• Curriculum design, objectives, assessments, and learning pathways
• Adult learning principles applied to craft and field populations
• Frequent travel to project sites

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise strategy and long-term roadmap for EHS training across Loenbro.
• Establish enterprise training standards, curricula, learning pathways, and matrices.
• Ensure training aligns with regulations, policies, risks, and client expectations.
• Identify competency gaps and develop scalable training strategies.
• Oversee governance of training requirements and updates.
• Design and improve EHS training for craft professionals, supervisors, lines, and teams.
• Develop learning pathways from onboarding to advanced leadership development.
• Define objectives, standards, assessments, and qualifications.
• Create training for high-risk operational topics (electrical, fall protection, etc.).
• Incorporate lessons from incidents, audits, and trends into training.
• Collaborate with Craft & Apprenticeship to embed EHS in programs.
• Ensure training reflects NCCER standards and apprenticeship needs.
