Job summary

Loenbro seeks a Director, EHS Training & Development to lead enterprise-wide learning for environmental, health, and safety training. You will design governance, standards, curricula, qualification requirements, and learning pathways to build safety capability across Loenbro’s multi-state workforce.

Working with EHS leadership, Operations, craft and apprenticeship programs, and Loenbro University, you will ensure programs are practical, scalable, and aligned with regulatory requirements, client

Qualifications

• 7+ years in EHS or safety training within industrial construction or related high-risk environment.
• Experience delivering training across geographically dispersed workforce.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and safety regulations for industrial construction.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical training.
• Experience with curricula, learning objectives, assessments, and pathways.
• Understanding of adult learning and training methodologies for craft and field populations.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise EHS training strategy and governance.
• Develop standards, curricula, learning pathways, and training matrix.
• Ensure programs align with regulatory requirements, company policies, and client expectations.
• Identify workforce competency gaps and develop scalable training strategies.
• Oversee governance to keep training requirements current as regulations and needs evolve.
• Design and improve EHS training for craft professionals, supervisors, leaders, and EHS teams.
• Partner with Craft & Apprenticeship and NCCER standards to integrate EHS competencies.
