Carlex Glass America, LLC is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety professional to conduct regular inspections and ensure regulatory compliance at the Nashville facility. You will support workers’ compensation investigations, manage environmental permits, and assist with the EHS Management System.

The role involves coordinating training, monitoring hazards, and helping design safe work areas. A degree in a relevant field and 3+ years of EHS experience are preferred, with a valid driver’s

Competenze

• Associate degree preferred in Environmental Sciences, Health & Safety, Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in a progressive EHS career or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Punctual and dependable attendance.

Mansioni

• Conduct regular EHS inspections of facility operations to ensure compliance.
• Aid site EHS in workers’ compensation investigations and return‑to‑work programs.
• Conduct sampling, data gathering, and analysis for environmental permits and regulatory obligations.
• Support actions to ensure regulatory requirements are managed.
• Assist in developing and managing the EHS Management System (EHS‑MS).
• Provide training on EHS policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Monitor hazards and develop action plans to mitigate risks.
• Prepare, maintain, and update written safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with design of facilities and work areas to meet EHS recommendations.
• Assist regional or plant EHS managers with inspections.
