Job summary

Insight Global is seeking EHS Technicians to work in a semiconductor fab cleanroom at the client site. You will promote safety and regulatory compliance, conduct routine safety inspections, input results daily, and coach colleagues in safe practices.

You will also lead site orientation and assist in incident investigations while supporting the safety committee. Qualified candidates should have a High School diploma (Associates or higher in science/safety preferred), OSHA/HAZWOPER certifications,

Qualifications

  • High School diploma required; associates degree preferred in science or safety.
  • 6 months to 1 year of professional safety experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
  • OSHA (10+) or HAZWOPER certification is required or preferred.
  • Associates degree or higher in a science or safety-related field.
  • Ability to pass drug and background checks.
  • Ability to lead safety training and onboarding activities.
  • Military experience in related roles is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular safety inspections in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
  • Input inspection data daily into the applicable computer program.
  • Coach cleanroom workers on safe work practices.
  • Conduct site orientation training for new employees on safety procedures.
  • Assist in incident investigations to determine root causes.
  • Be a point of contact for safety-related inquiries in the cleanroom.
  • Participate in site safety committee meetings and represent safety interests.

Our client is looking to hire EHS Technicians. They will be working within the semiconductor fab in the cleanroom at the client’s customer site on a daily basis. They will foster a culture of safety and responsibility by ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. They will conduct regular workplace safety inspections in a semiconductor manufacturing environment to identify and assess potential hazards, input data from inspection results daily into an applicable computer program, coach other workers in the cleanroom on safe work practices. They will conduct site orientation training for new employees on workplace safety procedures and protocols. Assist in the investigation of incidents to determine the root cause, be a point of contact for safety-related inquiries or concerns in the cleanroom. Participate and contribute to site safety committee meetings. Provide a positive and professional image of the company to customers, vendors and co-workers. Possess a genuine desire to provide outstanding service by being enthusiastic and motivated.
