Job summary

POLYWOOD is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Coordinator to manage safety systems, develop practical training and procedures, and lead the implementation of assigned safety programs. Based in Indiana, this role supports operations in Indiana and North Carolina and partners closely with site safety teams, Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, HR, and IT.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing high-risk safety programs (LOTO, confined space, contractor management).
• Experience administering an EHS or learning management system and producing useful reports.
• Ability to translate requirements into clear procedures and training materials.
• Willingness to travel between IN & NC sites and across locations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain HSI forms, workflows, inspection templates, assignments, notifications and reports.
• Improve data quality across sites; build dashboards for incidents, inspections, training and corrective actions.
• Coordinate vendor support and system improvements with IT.
• Develop practical procedures, job aids and training materials; coordinate technical review before release.
• Coordinate hands-on instruction, evaluations and trainer preparation; track qualifications and retraining needs.
• Manage contractor platform and process including onboarding, docs, and expiration tracking.
• Turn approved requirements into rollout plans across sites and shifts; ensure verification steps.
