Job summary

Darnel Group is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety Supervisor to lead EHS initiatives at the Monroe facility. The role focuses on implementing safety policies, conducting risk assessments, training, and ongoing improvement of safety programs across production, warehouse, and maintenance areas.

The position requires OSHA 30, forklift certification, 3+ years in a manufacturing safety role, and strong communication skills to coordinate with employees, contractors, and corporate teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in occupational safety in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Forklift certification and safe forklift operation knowledge.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, inspection, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to facilitate training sessions and lead group discussions.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine risk assessments and safety inspections across production areas and facilities.
• Conduct monthly safety trainings for employees and contractors.
• Lead monthly EHS meetings and oversee safety initiatives.
• Develop and coordinate the safety committee; track corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with corporate, regulatory, and insurance requirements; coordinate audits.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness activities and verify safety systems are functional.
• Maintain EHS documentation, inspection records, and incident reports.
• Monitor KPI data and drive continuous improvement in safety performance.
