Job summary

Leggett & Platt Inc. is seeking a Supervisor - EHS to oversee safety and environmental compliance across the plant. You will work with Branch One Management, Corporate Safety, and Corporate Environmental teams to maintain a safe, compliant, and continuously improving workplace.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years of EHS experience, OSHA and EPA knowledge, strong communication, and hands-on manufacturing site leadership with shop-floor presence. A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of EHS experience; supervisor experience preferred but not required.
• OSHA, Workers’ Compensation, and EPA expertise.
• Strong communication to convey safety expectations and corrective actions.
• Manufacturing environment experience with hands-on leadership on the shop floor.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety orientation for new hires and safety programs.
• Deliver annual training for various safety topics and programs.
• Coordinate inspections, audits, and job safety analyses.
• Lead accident investigations and drive root-cause corrective actions.
• Maintain OSHA‑required written programs and records.
• Coordinate environmental compliance and reporting with corporate teams.
