Job summary

Dessert Holdings seeks an Environmental, Health and Safety Supervisor for our Aurora, CO facility. You will lead day-to-day safety initiatives, promote safe work practices, and administer the EHS program to prevent injuries and environmental impact while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Reporting to the EHS Manager, you will investigate incidents, maintain records, conduct audits, and train staff. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package and a salary range of $60,000 to $80,000.

Qualifications

• BS degree or equivalent experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• 3 years of experience supporting Safety in a manufacturing setting.
• OSHA regulations knowledge and safety standards.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and record-keeping systems.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe work environment at the Aurora facility.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and advise management on actions.
• Lead incident investigations using root cause analysis.
• Maintain records of safety incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with DH facilities to share best practices and support initiatives.
• Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments.
• Oversee safety program adherence for all employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Develop and deliver site-specific safety training and materials.
• Coordinate the health and safety committee and reporting.
