Job summary

Dessert Holdings in Aurora, CO is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety Supervisor to lead day-to-day safety initiatives in our production facility. The role supports the EHS Manager and drives compliance, injury prevention, and environmental stewardship in a fast-paced dessert manufacturing environment.

Salary ranges from $60,000 to $80,000 annually, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• BS degree or equivalent in a food manufacturing environment.
• 3 years of experience supporting safety in a manufacturing setting.
• A professional designation (e.g. CSP, CRSP) is an asset.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and ANSI safety standards.
• Strong verbal and written communication with leadership ability.
• Proficiency with database applications and Microsoft Office; strong organizational skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe work environment at the facility and lead safety initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and advise leadership.
• Lead incident investigations using root cause analysis.
• Maintain records of safety incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate site health and safety training and audits.
• Monitor adherence to the safety program by all employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Collaborate with Human Resources on workers' compensation management.
