TRS Staffing Solutions is seeking an EHS Specialist to coordinate, maintain and train on environmental, health and safety programs at a Waxahachie plant. Responsibilities include safety training, incident investigations and regulatory compliance to protect workers and product quality.

The ideal candidate has a BS or higher in EHS/engineering or related field, strong written and spoken English, and proficiency with MS Office. GMP, OSHA/EPA experience is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Demonstrated proficiency in English for training and communication about safety and quality issues
• BS degree in Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering or related field or equivalent
• Associates with two years related experience acceptable; HS with four years preferred

Aufgaben

• Coordinate and maintain EHS programs at the plant
• Assist EHS Manager in administering EHS programs
• Deliver EHS training and orientations (LOTO, fire prevention, hazard communications, confined space, hearing conservation)
• Conduct safety inspections and audits; support incident investigations and root-cause analysis
• Ensure proper waste storage, handling and disposal; procure PPE
• Communicate with regulatory agencies as needed
• Track documentation and prepare reports
• Collaborate with HR on Worker’s Compensation and return-to-work programs
• Support safety and compliance with GMP and regulations
