Job summary

Air Products is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to support a Membrane Solutions facility in St. Louis.

This hands-on role collaborates with production, maintenance, engineering, and leadership to maintain compliance, drive safety, and improve environmental performance on the shop floor. The ideal candidate brings a 1–3 year EHS background in manufacturing, strong communication skills, and proficiency with data analytics and dashboards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of Environmental, Health & Safety experience in manufacturing/industrial settings preferred.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations, incident reporting, and risk assessments required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote safe work practices on the production floor and reinforce EHS expectations.
• Conduct safety observations, inspections, and hazard identifications.
• Assist in incident investigations and corrective action follow-up.
• Track EHS metrics and develop dashboards to support decision-making.
• Coordinate training records and EHS program documentation.
• Support audits, inspections, and safety program administration.
