Job summary

Sherwin-Williams in Florida is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety professional to support and maintain EHS programs at the site. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, coordinate safety activities, and drive proactive safety measures to protect personnel and assets.

Role involves cross-functional collaboration, training leadership, and a focus on reducing injuries and incidents, with travel and bonus eligibility as part of the employment terms.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in EHS or 2+ years of related experience.
• Formal training in Six Sigma, 5S, Lean, or similar continuous improvement tools.
• Experience managing industrial safety standards including respirator and lifting safety.
• Experience in occupational health and safety or Sherwin-Williams Development Program in EHS function.

Responsibilities

• Develop and initiate programs to reduce injuries, illnesses, and property losses.
• Integrate risk/loss controls into daily operations.
• Support employee-led safety committees.
• Maintain incident management systems and documentation, including change procedures and safety tracking.
• Record and analyze incident records and recommend corrective action.
• Support compliance with safety, health, and environmental laws and regulations.
• Plan, coordinate, and lead all site EHS training.
• Foster a positive safety culture with proactive shop-floor presence.
