Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Intern for the Holland, MI site from May 24, 2027 to July 30, 2027. The role is hosted by the EHS Department at a facility or headquarters and involves hands-on safety program implementation at the site.

Responsibilities include employee training, coordinating safety and health projects, promoting safe actions, analyzing incidents, and supporting engagement initiatives and events through the GSC Program Team.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a college or university at the time of the internship or co-op program.
• Must have at least one year of work experience using Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and Power Point.
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
• Must be enrolled in a college or university at the time of the internship or co-op program.

Responsibilities

• Implementing safety related programs at the site
• Employee training
• Coordination of safety and occupational health projects
• Promoting safe actions throughout the organization
• Analyzing accident and incident records
• Support and participate in employee engagement initiatives and site events to promote a positive and workplace culture
• Special projects as identified by the Safety Manager
• Engage in early career development programming, including workshops, info sessions, and networking opportunities through the GSC Program Team
