Job summary

Action Environmental is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Specialist to support field operations across Florida, including Tampa, Jacksonville, and Orlando. This on-site role focuses on promoting safe work practices, regulatory compliance, and the implementation of safety programs for diverse projects.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of EHS experience, strong knowledge of EPA/OSHA/DOT/MSHA regulations, and the ability to travel within Florida.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of progressive EHS experience in industrial, environmental, construction, or remediation settings.
• Strong knowledge of EPA, OSHA, DOT, and MSHA regulations.
• Ability to travel regularly throughout Florida.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills; certifications preferred (e.g., OSHA 500/510, HAZWOPER).

Responsibilities

• Promote safe work practices and ensure regulatory compliance across field operations.
• Develop and enforce EHS policies and client-specific programs.
• Conduct field audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
• Prepare HASPs, JHAs, risk assessments, and safety documentation.
