Job summary

Koroseal is seeking an Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist for our Louisville, KY facility. This role coordinates EHS activities across Koroseal facilities and supports sustainability projects, reporting to the Plant HR Manager with travel as required.

You will inspect environments, identify hazards, train employees, investigate incidents, manage JSA documents, and lead continuous improvement in safety and environmental practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 2 years of industrial health, safety, and environmental management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Advanced computer skills for report writing and metrics tracking.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and evaluate facilities to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Identify safety hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Educate employees through training programs.
• Investigate accidents and near misses to determine root causes.
• Support sustainability projects and documentation.
• Oversee PPE usage and maintenance.
• Issue and revise Job Safety Analysis (JSA) documents.
• Lead safety committee meetings.
• Coordinate environmental permits and reporting.
• Maintain MSDS/SDS files.
• Drive continuous improvement in EHS practices.
• All other duties as assigned.
