Koroseal Interior Products in Louisville, KY is hiring an EHS Specialist to coordinate health, safety, and environmental programs across facilities. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and support sustainability projects.

The role reports to the Plant HR Manager and will require coordination across locations, with travel as needed. Strong communication, analytical, and training skills are essential to manage audits, JSA updates, and PPE programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 2 years of industrial health, safety, and environmental management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Advanced computer skills for report writing and metrics tracking.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, sustainability practices, and environmental compliance.
• Experience in leading safety training and audits.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and evaluate the environment, equipment, and processes to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Identify safety hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Educate employees on health and safety best practices through training programs.
• Investigate accidents and near misses to determine root causes.
• Support sustainability projects and documentation.
• Oversee PPE use and maintenance and JSA documentation.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives for EHS practices.
