Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials Inc. in Reading, PA is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to lead EHS activities and drive safety and environmental performance across the facility.

You will partner with Operations, manage audits, develop training, and promote KAITEKI-based sustainability initiatives while maintaining strong compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or related field (or 3–5 years of relevant experience).
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
• Good mechanical aptitude and understanding of industrial equipment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Effective decision-making and problem-solving abilities.

Responsabilités

• Lead and drive Environmental, Health & Safety initiatives across the Reading facility.
• Partner with Operations and site leadership to reduce EHS risk and strengthen compliance.
• Support audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement of EHS performance.
• Provide EHS training and mentoring to employees and leadership.
• Develop and monitor EHS metrics and leading indicators.
