Job summary

Dover Fueling Solutions (DFS), a part of Dover Corporation, is seeking an EHS Specialist to provide technical support for safety and environmental topics at our Austin, TX site. Responsibilities include handling Lockout/Tagout, Hazard Communication, Waste Management, and Spill Response, with experience in audits and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or higher (BS/AS preferred in Health & Safety) and at least 2 years of safety experience in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Must have safety regulatory knowledge and experience with audits.
• Experience with OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001, and integrated management systems is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with staff at all levels.
• Able to manage multiple projects in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support in management of EHS topics including Lockout, Confined Space, Emergency Response, Hazard Communication, Waste Management, Spill Response, Storm Water.
• Troubleshoot safety and environmental issues and assist in root-cause analysis.
• Assist in writing technical and management system reports and documents.
• Lead cross-functional teams to plan and address key EHS issues.
• Maintain EHS controls and documentation procedures.
• Assist with internal compliance audits and program evaluations.
