Job summary

FII USA, Inc., a Foxconn Technology Group Company, seeks an EHS Specialist to support environmental, health, and safety programs in a production environment. You will implement policies, perform inspections, and help drive continuous improvement across the EHS department.

The role collaborates with Production, Engineering, Facilities, and HR to promote a proactive safety culture and ensure regulatory compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in environmental, health, and safety, occupational safety, or environmental compliance within a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and general industry safety standards.
• Experience conducting safety inspections, audits, incident investigations, and root cause analysis preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 standards preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, and work in a production environment for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and enforcing environmental, health, and safety policies, procedures, and programs.
• Support compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local, state, and federal regulatory requirements.
• Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments throughout production and facility areas.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and injuries; assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain EHS records and track metrics, including incident reports, corrective actions, and compliance activities.
• Assist with the coordination and delivery of safety training, including new hire orientation and recurring employee training.
• Partner with Production, Engineering, Facilities, and Human Resources to promote a proactive safety culture.
• Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions to reduce risk.
• Support emergency response planning, emergency drills, and incident preparedness activities.
• Maintain documentation for regulatory reporting, inspections, audits, and compliance activities.
• Monitor the proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials and waste.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with safety requirements.
• Assist with the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of EHS policies, procedures, and programs.
• Support workers' compensation case management and return-to-work programs as needed.
• Assist during regulatory inspections and provide documentation requested by regulatory agencies.
