Job summary

Foxconn Industrial Internet - FII in Houston is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Specialist to plan, implement, and oversee all EH&S programs in electronic manufacturing. The role ensures compliance with OSHA, EPA, and internal policies while maintaining a safe, healthy, and compliant workplace.

You will lead audits, investigations, documentation management, and drive ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 compliance. 3–5 years of hands-on EH&S experience in manufacturing is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemical, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of EH&S experience in electronics manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards, EPA regulations, and compliance frameworks.
• Experience in hazard identification, chemical safety, and manufacturing risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain, and ensure EH&S programs for Electronic Manufacturing.
• Monitor changes in legislation to maintain compliance and readiness.
• Conduct risk assessments focused on manufacturing hazards.
• Lead investigations of incidents, accidents, and near-misses root cause analyses.
• Conduct safety audits, site inspections, and walk-throughs of production floors.
• Maintain EH&S documentation, including SDS/MSDS, incident logs, and training records.
• Maintain ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems certification compliance.
• Serve as the EH&S programs primary point of contact for corporate and regulatory angencies.
• Develop and maintain Emergency Response and Business Continuity Plans inclusive of emergency drills.
