Job summary

HP Hood LLC located in Sacramento is seeking an EHS professional to provide technical support to operations. This role involves maintaining training records, implementing safety policies, and ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations.

The ideal candidate holds a BA/BS degree in occupational safety or a related field and has experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably in food & beverage. Skills in Microsoft Office and a passion for workplace safety are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a BA/BS degree in occupational safety or related field.
• 0-2 years of related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of EPA and DOT standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates training and maintains training records per OSHA requirements.
• Implements EHS programs aligned with Federal & State requirements.
• Conducts facility safety inspections and recommends improvements.
• Serves as a contact for workers' compensation claims.
• Promotes a positive safety culture through documentation and training.
