Winnebago Industries, Inc. is seeking an EHS Specialist to lead environmental, health, and safety programs at the Forest City site.

This full‑time role partners with plant leadership to identify risks, drive continuous improvement, and ensure regulatory compliance across operations. Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3–5 years of manufacturing EHS experience, with certifications such as ASP, CSP, CHMM, CIH, or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or related field or equivalent combination of education and EHS experience.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing EHS experience.
• Experience leading investigations, audits, and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned EHS programs and ensure regulatory compliance across all operational areas.
• Interpret and apply OSHA, EPA, DOT, NFPA, ANSI, and state regulations; lead compliance activities.
• Lead hazard assessments, JSAs/JHAs, industrial hygiene assessments, and ergonomic evaluations.
• Lead complex incident investigations and root cause analyses; develop corrective actions.
• Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
