Veolia Group is seeking an EHS Specialist to implement and administer Health, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, and OSHA programs at Leonia, Bellevue, Cary, and other facilities under the EPP and T&P framework. The role emphasizes a healthy, incident-free workplace through hazard evaluation and ethical health principles.

The position requires a degree in OH&S, chemistry, engineering, or environmental science and 3–5 years in EHS.

Qualificações

• Education in OH&S, chemistry, engineering or environmental science.
• 3–5 years of experience in an EHS role.
• Ability to implement hazard recognition, evaluation and control.

Responsabilidades

• Lead compliance with federal, state, local and corporate EHS laws and guidelines.
• Analyze data and audit processes for ergonomics, emergency prep, maintenance, and safety.
• Support and improve EHS programs to reduce hazards and risk.
• Lead or support EHS projects and required reports.
• Lead investigations and root cause analyses for incidents.
• Conduct safety inspections and provide guidance at the site.
• Participate in incident investigations and sustainability reporting.
• Promote behavior-based safety and ensure training is documented.
• Collaborate with management and staff to drive safe operations.
