Job summary

Air Distribution Limited in Geneva, AL seeks an EHS Specialist III to provide full-time environmental health and safety support for manufacturing operations. The role ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and leads safety initiatives to cultivate our Zero Harm culture.

The position reports to the Geneva EHS Manager and requires at least 2 years of EHS experience in industry, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Management, Safety Management, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of EHS experience in manufacturing.

• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to foster solid relationships within the facility.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local EHS requirements and ADTi systems.
• Lead Lean/Safety Kaizens and drive EHS Zero Harm culture.
• Support Safety Culture Transformation across departments.
• Maintain EHS Playbook scorecard indicators and reporting.
• Assist with EPA, OSHA, DOT, DHS, and other regulatory programs.
• Lead incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate environmental testing (air, wastewater, waste) and reporting.
• Oversee EHS training, including new-hire orientation with HR.
• Lead Emergency Response Team and Safety Committee activities.
