Pay Rate: $35.81/hr on W2

Long term Contract
Work is for Second Shift, any day during the week, Sun-Sat, from 5:00 pm – 1:00 am.
EHS manager to be on site when crew is working. Length of day/extended hours will depend on work occurring at site.
The EHS Project Manager will provide front line Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) support to the Power Conversion North America construction project at the Naval Shipyard in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. You will manage site activities as they related to EHS, including contractor management, liaise with the customer (Navy) on EHS matters when necessary, and report into the Power Conversion North America EHS leader.
Essential Responsibilities
As the EHS Project Manager, you will:
• Develop and implement site EHS plan.
• Proactively manage and work to reduce Risk, including conducting Safety Risk Assessments, and reviewing employee Pre-Job Assessments. Propose and implement improvements and safety defenses for the project.
• Perform site EHS audits and daily walk-through inspections. Maintain log of EHS findings and track to closure.
• Manage contractor EHS contract requirements.
• Oversee and contractor work related to construction, electrical, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), confined spaces, working at heights, lifting and rigging, working with chemicals, and associated work.
• Develop and oversee implementation of electrical and LOTO programs.
• Coordinate and provide training for field service employees.
• Investigate safety/environmental incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and drive implementation of corrective actions.
• Conduct Toolbox Talks and EHS meetings with team.
• Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly logs and reports. Perform trend analysis.
• Conduct regulatory reporting where required.
• Manage any EHS issues that arise during activities at the site.
Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college.
• Minimum of 5 additional years of experience in Services and Projects.
• Strong electrical knowledge, both technical and safety programs (OSHA, NFPA).
• Strong construction knowledge.
• Strong contractor management experience.

• Prior experience operationalizing safety, health and compliance programs.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Prior experience working with government entities.
