Job summary

Relativity Space is seeking an EHS professional to join our team in Long Beach, CA. You will drive incident investigations, perform risk assessments, and support across engineering and manufacturing to embed safety into all processes.

You will lead JHAs, inspections, and hazard analyses while delivering EHS training and guidance. This role emphasizes collaboration, regulatory know-how, and practical safety leadership on the factory floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or Environmental Sciences (EPA, MDEQ)
• 2-4 years of experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS)
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental requirements
• Knowledge of pressure safety principles, pressure systems, air contaminants and controls, fall protection, and other core EHS topics
• Experience conducting JHAs, field inspections, and hazard assessments
• Strong verbal communication and collaboration skills across departments
• Experience delivering EHS training; comfortable using Excel, Word, and other Office tools

Responsibilities

• Drive incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action management.
• Provide EHS support to departments across the site, including engineers, specialists, and technicians.
• Drive initiatives that foster a positive safety culture.
• Partner with the team to create and review risk assessments, such as JHAs.
• Prepare and provide support for EHS-related activities and documentation.
